About Me


Laryn Van Dyk (she/her) is a designer and researcher passionate about helping clients create accessible, inclusive and engaging services and solutions. She has a Master of Design in Inclusive Design from OCAD U.

While completing her studies she used inclusive and participatory research methods to explore youths' experiences with digital mental health interventions, for which she was awarded the OCAD U Medal for Inclusive Design. Additionally, she was awarded the 2023 Governor General’s Gold Academic Medal for scholastic achievements in graduate-level studies.

Currently, she works as a Service Designer in the BC Public Service. In this role, she employs user research methods and an inclusive design lens to consult on projects that implement human-centred design approaches.

Laryn is skilled in employing inclusive research methods to develop innovative designs and utilizing digital technologies to create accessible services and solutions. She is a collaborative and effective communicator, adept at working closely with stakeholders to deliver user-centred and accessible formats.

Laryn is open to new opportunities to apply expertise in inclusive design and research, focusing on fostering equity and crafting inclusive services and solutions.
